This looks amazing :D
I love Crested Pigeons. I see them a lot around my house and I love how they have that unique wingbeat sound :)

A beautiful drawing of a beautiful bird. I love crested pigeons, and you've drawn this one so well. The colours on the wings are great, as is the background colour.

They're found in Australia. :) I saw one on the corner of my street the other day.

Aw, maybe one day you could come to Australia! I'd love to visit other places in the world. If only money grew on trees!

I"m not crazy about skyrats of any kind, but you rendered this one in a very pretty way, with nice colours. :)

Do you consider endemic, native pigeons to also be skyrats? That's a brutal blow to cast upon a very diverse species of birds, based on the feral habits of a few.

I'm thinking of the urban skyrats that seem to plague every city I've visited, they and their immediate ilk are the ones I can't stand. I guess it'd be kinda like lumping all raptors into one bucket, there, though...

Yeah, Crested Pigeons are endemic to Australia, quite uncommon (much like the Common Bronzewing here, as well), and are striking to observe. That said, the feral skyrats you dislike displace them in their natural habitats; so they don't adapt to urbanisation well. :(

All the more reason to dislike the skyrats that plague the cities, then. Poor 'native' featherheads... :(
