Virginia Opossum as Totem by Ravenari Virginia Opossum as Totem by Ravenari
Virginia Opossum as Totem

I've never drawn one of these before, and we don't have them here in Australia. But I've always found opossums to be really interesting, omnivorous animals. They remind me a lot of the quoll. :) This was a lot of fun to draw, and the beautiful, awesome Torey suggested it in my LiveJournal request list.

Well I've done rat before, just not in this style.
But I'm sure I will do a rat in this style too eventually! Heh.

Hey great stuff, it's beautiful! Opossums are my favorite animal by far; I rehab them here in the US and they truly are such interesting little critters! Also not trying to be a smart ass or anything, but they're actually omnivorous, not carnivorous. ;)

That's because I'm in Australia and we have a ridiculous amount of genuine *possums* here. Lol. :)
