Medium: Crescent cold-pressed illustration board, with an inked base in 0.1 and 0.5 Artline Drawing System fineliners, followed by a layer of watercolour pencil (primarily derwent and FB Albrecht Durer), with refining occurring with coloured pencil (derwent and polychromos). There is bronze metallic paint in the outlines that picks up the light, and a small amount of acrylic cream was added to certain areas.

Time spent: No idea. But at least 50 hours. The inking process was a monstrosity. Colouring occurred in less than four days.

This is the largest project I've ever worked on, in this particular time-consuming style. I'm very happy with it, and I hope the client is too.

Oh my god, a DD. Thank you for the rec, and the feature by - I'm just...incredibly grateful. The timing is perfect. The illustration goes home with the owner tonight. I'm sad to see it leave.

The Bronze Forest by *Ravenari is a wonderful forest scene reminiscent of traditional fairy tale illustration with the added warmth of metallic bronze. (

It's pretty good, though it's a few years old now. Though, for clarification, it's called "Fable", not "Fable Game". That was my failing English coming into play. XD
It kind of looks like the same style of artwork as that from in-game in the first Fable Game. Really nicely done!
