Night Rabbit and the Dream Fox by Ravenari Night Rabbit and the Dream Fox by Ravenari
The Night Rabbit and the Dream Fox

It's been too long since I've worked purely in inks. This is the completed version, no colouring! Mostly I've been working on this late at night, doodling on a cushion and watching Doctor Who (huzzah Donna!).

I've always loved foxes and rabbits. Even though they're both extraordinarily feral in Australia. So here, have the Night Rabbit and the Dream Fox.

love the designs worked in the rabbit's head and into the ears. Really brings in an ethereal mystic quality

Gorgeous! Out of curiosity, how long does it take you to do the spiral background one a piece like this?

It probably takes a few hours, but I don't time it too strictly, since I take so many breaks (about every ten minutes) that it's not really worth it. But the spirals take less time than the cross-hatching.
