Description

Elliot's Pheasant (Syrmaticus ellioti) and Rhododendron (Rhododendron adenogynum) on illustration board in ink and watercolour. Part of an Inktober project and finally coloured. I had so much fun with these. I think I'm officially moving away from watercolour pencil and into watercolour. :)

I can't even put in to words how much I adore your composition with these. Like snapshots of real life, but then the stylization makes it seem that we delve deeper within the more intimate and spiritual aspect of their lives.
